New connection shall be granted in the premises in question, upon compliance of all formalities. The petitioner was found to be in possession of the said premises, along with his spouse and child.

The dispute between the petitioner and the respondent Nos.6, 7 and 8, shall be decided by an appropriate forum. The connection shall not create any equity in favour of the petitioner and shall be subject to the result of any civil litigation between the parties.

The connection shall be granted within a month from date, upon the petitioner complying with other formalities. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
