Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of repeated representations being advanced, no steps are taken by the concerned police station. Petitioner complains that there has been demolition work which is going on and there is construction of high-rise building at 24A, Bagmari Road, Kolkata54, but the police authorities are not responding to the information so sent.

State has submitted a report. It has been pointed out that a civil suit being T.S. 7 of 2020 is pending. It has been also contended in the report that the petitioner has been repeatedly asked over phone to visit the police station, but the petitioner being a resident of Liluah, Howrah is reluctant to come to the police station for lodging a specific complaint.

In view of the stand taken by the petitioner and the State, I direct that in case a representation is submitted before the police station, the police authorities will take into account the overall circumstances and take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 21964 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
