The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the Kaliganj Police Station has not taken any steps in respect of the complaint dated 8th August, 2022.
Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 14th February, 2023 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Kaliganj Police Station, Krishnagar P.D., Nadia addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.
It appears that there was a civil suit between the petitioner and the private respondents, which has since been disposed of.
The complaint of the petitioner of unauthorized actions by the private respondents has been registered as FIR being Kaliganj PS Case No.532/22 dated 18th August, 2022 and investigation is being completed and charge sheet No.740/22 dated 21st December, 2022 has been filed. In that view of the matter, this Court finds no inaction on the part of the Kaliganj Police. Kaliganj Police shall, however, ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.
With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
