An instruction has been forwarded by the engineers of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation signed on 5th October, 2023 mentioning that the demolition case will be heard without insisting upon payment of security deposit.

As the demolition case is pending consideration before the concerned authority, accordingly, the authority is directed to serve notice upon the petitioners intimating the date of hearing.

It will be open for the petitioners to raise all points before the Hearing Officer at the time of hearing. The writ petition stands disposed of.
