The instant writ petition was filed challenging the vacancy notification issued by the concerned SCF&S dated June 7, 2024 in respect of vacancy location at Jagatpur( Bank of Boroda), Jagatpur, district of North 24 Parganas. It is the case of the petitioner that the authority concerned had issued earlier notification on February 17, 2022 in respect of the same location. It is the case of the petitioner that the authority concerned without exhausting the procedure had again issued the impugned notification on June 7, 2024.

Mr. Sengupta, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State has submitted a report. It appears from the report that in terms of the vacancy notification dated February 17, 2022, the applications were received, enquiry was conducted over the proposed shop-cumgodown of intending applicants, files were send to the selection committee through District Controller Food &

Supply North 24-Parganas for further course of necessary action in the instant matter.

The District Selection Committee not recommend any of the applicants because of the fact none of them satisfied the eligible criterion as enumerated in the G.O. No.1707/F&S/2.7.2014. Consequently, they had to issue a fresh notification on June 7, 2024 by canceling the earlier notification.

Heard the learned advocate for the State respondent, it appears to me that the challenge in this writ petition by the present petitioner cannot be entertained at this stage. The authority concerned has correctly issued the impugned notification by cancelling the earlier notification dated February 17, 2022. Under the above observation, the writ petition is dismissed and disposed of.

The report filed on behalf of the State authority be taken on record.
