For the State The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Ms. Trina Mitra, Learned Advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State. Her appearance may be regularised by the concerned authority. The present revisional application has been preferred in connection English Bazar P.S. Case No. 253 of 2015 dated 30.4.2015 under Sections 143/325/326/307/354B/379/506 of the IPC. The petitioner is aggrieved by the factum of such case pending for the last eight years, wherein charge-sheet was filed in the year 2015.

Hence, the ld. Trial Court would take steps so that the case is committed at the earliest. In case, all the accused persons are not appearing before this Court on the date fixed for commitment, then, the ld. Magistrate would

take steps for modifying the order of bail, so that the case may be, at the earliest, committed to the Court of Sessions. With the above observations, CRR 3465 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Needless to state that the ld. Advocate for the petitioner at the very inception did not intend to pursue with the prayer for quashing of the proceeding.
