Case No. 357 of 2018, which is under the provisions of Section 12 of the PWDV Act, 2005.

Ld. Advocate for the petitioner submits that the case was initiated in the year 2018 and for the last five years, nothing has progressed. So far as the date of the evidence is concerned, the ld. Magistrate is continuously fixing the same but the o.p. no.2 herein is purposely avoiding the court proceedings so far as her evidence is concerned. In view of the attention of the Court being drawn to the last of the few orders, I direct that the ld. JM, 1st Class, Municipal Court, Howrah, would on and from the next date, fix one date in a month for the purposes of evidence of the case and take all steps for concluding the evidence within a period of one year from date.

The ld. Magistrate would take steps, in case, purposefully, intentionally and designedly delay is caused in this case.

All efforts be taken so that the trial is completed within the time schedule fixed above.

With the above observations, CRR 3466 of 2023 is disposed of.
