Petitioner has been implicated in connection with Basudevpur PS Case No. 230/2025 dated 14.08.2025. Petitioner claims that she is the bona fide purchaser of a property. However, the present case relates to a forged deed in respect of which transfer of property has taken place by impersonating the actual owner.

The complaint reflects that there are 12 accused persons including the petitioner. It has not been disputed by the State that the petitioner is the purchaser of the property.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that petitioner did not purchase the land from the original owner.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is a lady, she has purchased the property from certain persons who impersonated themselves to be the actual owner of the property along with others. In view of the investigation of the case being proceeded with and considering the locus of the present petitioner, I am of the view that in case the petitioner co-operates with the Investigating Officer of the case and makes herself as and when called for, no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner. Such order will remain in existence till 01.12.2025. State is directed to produce the case diary.

List the writ petition under the heading 'For Orders' in the monthly list of November, 2025. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
