Considering their submissions and the facts and circumstances as appears from record annexed to the writ petition I am not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner except granting liberty to the petitioner to file response to the letter of the respondent Excise authority dated 12th April, 2023 being annexure P/10 to the writ petition within two weeks from date and if such response is filed within the time stipulated herein the same shall be considered strictly in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and interested parties or their authorised representatives

within four weeks from the date of receipt of such response.

It is clarified that this Court has not gone into the merits of the writ petition or any claim made by the respondents and the authority concerned will consider the such response/reply strictly in accordance with law.

With this observation, this writ petition being WPA 21871 of 2023 stands disposed of.
