The petitioner has prayed for an order directing the Uday Gram Panchayat i.e. the proforma respondent, to call a fresh tender in respect of two water bodies. After going through the writ petition, this Court finds that the petitioner has failed to make out any case of police inaction. The allegation of the petitioner is solely directed against the inaction on the part of the Panchayat Authority.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application before

the appropriate forum in accordance with law. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
