Mr. Indranil Halder .for the petitioner Ms. Sreemoyee Mitra ..for CESC Limited A final order of assessment was passed by the Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) Limited directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs. 10,688/- on the allegation of unauthorised use of electricity.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is willing to pay the said amount.

There is no justification for keeping this writ petition pending.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:

CESC Limited shall restore the electricity connection of the petitioner upon deposit of the assessed amount along with the applicable reconnection charges, within a period of five days from the date of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 21947 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
