And In Re : Khaleda Bibi ...... petitioner Mr. M. Chatterjee Md. G. N. Imrohi Mr. Debapriya Majumdar ....for the petitioners Ms. Sayanti Santra ....for the State Learned advocate for the petitioner submits she is the mother-in-law of the victim house-wife. She has been falsely implicated.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the torture of the victim house-wife who committed suicide within two years of marriage.

In view of the gravity of the offence and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 4678 of 2022 is dismissed.
