This appeal is directed against an award dated 21st January, 2017 passed by learned Additional District and Sessions MAC Tribunal, 1st Court, North 24 Parganas in MAC case no. 190 of 2013 (Alpana Biswas & ors. vs. Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited).

Pursuant to an earlier direction of this Court, the parties were requested to attempt to amicably resolve the matter.

It is submitted by the parties that they have been able to resolve their disputes.

It appears that by way of a separate deposits a sum of Rs. 2,34,344/- is lying with the Registrar General of this Court.

It is submitted by the learned advocate for the claimant that his client is ready and agreeable to

receive the said amount along with accrued interest as full and final settlement of his dues.

The Registrar General of this Court is directed to pay the aforesaid sum along with accrued interest to the claimants/respondents within four weeks from date.

The Registrar General is directed to ensure the physical presence of the claimants and be satisfied about their identity and upon proper and valid identification being produced by the claimants. With the aforesaid directions, FMAT 620 of 2017 and the interlocutory applications stand disposed off. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
