The Report clearly states that all the witnesses that the prosecution intends to rely upon has been completed and date has been fixed on 19th February, 2026 for examination of the accused under Section 313 of the Cr.P.C. Having considered that the trial court is at the final stage of adjudication, at this stage, it would not be fit and proper to release the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

The learned trial court would without being influenced by any of the observations made by this court decide the case on merits at the final stage. Accordingly, CRM(M) 1735 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Report in the form of affidavit so submitted by the State be kept with the record.
