1. Petitioner is the de facto complainant. He submits police conducted perfunctory investigation and submitted final report. He preferred a protest petition which came to be allowed. This has been challenged in criminal revision no. 576 of 2024 and the order for further investigation has been stayed. He prays for expeditious disposal of the revision petition.

2. Mr. Manna appears for the opposite party. He contends investigation was done in a proper manner and no case for further investigation has been made out.

3. I am of the opinion the issues canvassed before me require to be agitated before the revisional court. However, as further investigation has been stalled the revision proceeding requires to be disposed of at an early date.

4. Hence, I direct the revisional court to dispose of the proceeding being Criminal Revision No.576 of 2024 on the next date fixed and if the court is unable to do so, to fix another date and dispose of the matter on that date as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties
