This is an application for expeditious disposal of a suit for specific performance of contract being Title Suit No.817 of 2018 pending before the learned Judge, 5th Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta. It appears from the record that 27th July, 2023 was fixed for filing of the written statement as a last chance.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the next date for filing of the written statement has been fixed on 12th December, 2023. CO 3177 of 2023 is disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, 5th Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to dispose of Title Suit No.817 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties on usual formalities.
