The affidavit-in-opposition filed by the learned Counsel on behalf of the USC be kept with the record.(In WPA No. 20178 of 2019) Mr. Banerjee, learned senior Advocate appearing for the Principal of the College submits that the writ petitioners were teachers of the College who were transferred in the month of September, 2019. Because of an interim order that the transfer order was stayed but the State Government is not disbursing the salary since October, 2019 because of some technical problem in the portal. The salary of the said teachers (writ petitioners herein) are paid by the Principal from the funds of the College and prays for a direction upon the State to release the salary of the teachers accumulated since 2019 and disbursed the same to the account of the College. Learned senior Advocate also prays for releasing the salary of the teachers every month by the State.

The learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the names of the teachers of deleted by the Principal of the College which is vehemently opposed by Mr. Banerjee, learned senior Advocate appearing for the applicant.

Mr. Sanyal, learned Advocate appearing for the writ petitioners submits that the teachers of the said College prays for regular salary and increments to be paid to them from Government funds. Heard all the parties.

The State is requested to disburse the amount which has not been paid since 2019 and to regularize the payments of the teachers by paying monthly salary to them at an earliest.

The revision of pay which has taken place in the meantime, should also be given effect by the State to the teachers. The State is also requested to rectify the technical problems in the portal for smooth running of the College.

In any event, the salary of the teachers who were providing services to the College should not be stopped either by the College or by the State.

All applications are disposed of.
