And In Re : Mir Fazlur Rahaman @ Mir Fajlu Ali ...... petitioner Mr. Mahim Sasmal ....for the petitioner Mr. S. S. Imam Mr. S. Kundu ....for the State The petitioner is named in the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, where the victim implicates the petitioner in the kidnapping and the demand for ransom.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 4644 of 2022 is dismissed.
