Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of 06.03.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.41 Rakib direction passed under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the learned ACJM, Ghatal, Paschim Medinipur, police authorities did not register any case.

Earlier there was a direction by this Court, consequent to which a report has been submitted which reflects that Ghatal PS case no. 39/25 under Section 05.02.2025 has been registered for investigation. In view of the police authorities having registered the case, prima facie the grievance of the petitioner has been addressed. However, since a belated investigation has commenced police authorities would put in their efforts. The jurisdictional DSP/SDPO/Additional SP will monitor investigation of the case, exhaust all the possibilities for remedying the delay which has been caused and take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 22631 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
