Petitioner approached this Court as he was unable to peacefully cultivate and enjoy the plots of land which claims to be his own.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that there was dispute regarding the plots of land between the petitioner and the private respondents.

Police authorities have therefore restricted themselves from interfering with the demarcation of the land between the petitioner and the private respondents, particularly with regard to the portion for which each of them intends to cultivate. However, the police authorities have drawn up proceedings under section 126 of the BNSS at the relevant point of time.

Be that as it may, in case the dispute and difference between the petitioner and the private

respondent continues, police authorities would take steps in accordance with law and restrict their interference for prevention of any violations relating to law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 22633 of 2024 is disposed of.
