1. The petitioner says that he has been falsely implicated. He is not involved in the alleged offence. He is in custody for about 7 months. Investigation is complete. He prays for bail.

2. Opposing the prayer, learned State counsel draws our attention to the FSL report which indicates that huge number of obscene photographs and videos of the victim girl was taken by the accused persons. We have also seen the deposition of the victim girl who has already been examined before the learned Trial court. The trial has started and is in progress. It cannot be said that there is any delay in progress of the trial.

3. In view of the prima facie incriminating material and evidence against the petitioner and seeing that trial is progressing and considering that if convicted, the petitioner shall have to undergo a minimum sentence of 20 years, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

4. CRM (DB) 3012 of 2024 is dismissed.
