Anowar Hossain Ms. Manisha Sharma ... for the State The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Mr. Anowar Hossain, ld. Advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appearance may be regularised by the concerned authority. Ld. Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for one year six months. Till date, charge has not been framed in spite of the fact that charge-sheet has been submitted long ago. It has been brought to the notice of this court that next date has been fixed on 26th of September, 2023 for consideration of charges.

Having regard to the period of detention of the petitioner, I direct the ld. Special Court to overcome the stage of consideration of charges on the next date so fixed or, within a fortnight thereafter.

The ld. Special Court would, thereafter, fix a schedule consisting of three dates and, fix such schedule once in every sixty days so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment will be granted to either of the parties. If any witness is absent, the Superintendent of Police should be communicated for ensuring the appearance of the witness. The concerned Public Prosecutor conducting the case will produce the materials, exhibits and documents for the purposes of the trial. All stakeholder would cooperate with the ld. Trial Court so that the trial can be concluded at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3483 of 2023 of disposed of.
