1. The petitioner seeks benefits under the Circular being G.O. No. 60-Edn.(CS) dated January 10, 1986, from August 2014 till his retirement sometime in 2019. The petitioner has also claimed reliefs that the directions contained in the order dated May 14, 2025, be strictly adhered.

2. The college authorities submits that sometime in August, 2025, the requisite documents have already been sent to the respondent no. 2.

3. Respondent no. 2 is represented but unable to specify whether the documents are available with him.

4. Since the documents have already been sent once, the college authorities are directed to resubmit the documents by January 30, 2026.

5. Respondent no. 2 is directed to act in accordance with the order of May 14, 2025, and complete the process of upgradation of the petitioner from the post of Lower Division Clerk to Upper Division Clerk by February 28, 2026.

6. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
