Petitioner complains that the Panchayat members have been adjudicating disputes and to that effect, a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- was deposited and there was also a coercive settlement of Rs.9,00,000/- out of which Rs.7,00,000/- is yet to be paid. Petitioner also complains of threat and coercion for preparation of the document concerned. To that effect, petitioner complains that a cognizable offence is made out.

Having regard to the fact that till date the police authorities have not been apprised regarding the facts as also the figures including the accusations in respect of the individual concerned, I am of the opinion that the writ petition is premature.

Petitioner be well advised to file his representation before the appropriate authority. If

no steps are taken by the concerned authority, petitioner would adhere to the provisions of law for necessary relief.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 22423 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
