Perused the case diary.

It is the petitioner's case that there were case and counter case. Both sides suffered injuries.

It appears from the statements of the victim and the eyewitnesses that the present petitioner is the principal accused. He attacked the victim with a "Da". The injury report shows inflicting of lacerated injury on scalp.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary against the present petitioner, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
