Ms. Jagriti Bhattacharya Mr. Shahnawaz Alam ....for the petitioner Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. Although, the petitioner filed a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act in the year 2018, till date the proceeding has not been concluded. Even, the trial has not started. On several occasions, the accused was found absent or prayed for adjournment.

As a prayer for expeditious disposal of the proceeding has only been made, no prejudice will be caused to anyone if an order is passed without service of notice on the other side. In view of the above, the revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned trial court to conclude the proceeding as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a year from the date of communication of this order.
