Learned advocate for the Howrah Municipal Corporation has intimated that most of the illegal construction has been demolished. However, as the Division Bench in an appeal against the order of this court dated 23.11.2023 passed an order for de novo proceeding, they have started it and it will be completed soon.

However, the Division Bench recorded the writ petitioner's submission that the writ petition being WPA 22361 of 2022 is to be treated as withdrawn. Therefore, the matter practically is disposed of. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
