Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Sanjib Kumar Dan, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

The prayer of the petitioner is for transfer from the jurisdictional court at Bibhum to any court within the jurisdiction of the district of Murshidabad. On perusal of the charge-sheet, I find that majority of the witnesses are from Birbhum. There is perception of threat which has been created. However, having considered that there is every possibility of the trial being frustrated if the case is transferred, I direct that in case the petitioner informs the Inspector-in-Charge/Officer-in-Charge of Bolpur Police Station 48 hours ahead of reaching on the date the case is fixed, all assistance be given to the petitioner for participating in the proceedings of the said case. A standing order would be passed by Inspector-in-Charge/Officer-in-Charge of Bolpur Police Station that

she be provided with an escort at least two lady constables on the date so fixed for the purposes of Labpur Police Station Case No.114 dated 15.07.2022.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3493 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
