The writ petitioner is aggrieved by investigation into FIR No. 81 of 2022 registered by the Ballygunge Police Station. The petitioner complains that FIR does not sufficiently address all the offences committed by the accused persons. The petitioner submits that he was assaulted and as a consequence whereof, he broke a tooth.

The petitioner may submit appropriate evidence before the Investigating Officer. The Investigating Officer may consider the same and apply before the Magistrate, if so deemed necessary, for addition of new sections in the FIR.

It is ordered that investigation be completed expeditiously within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order. The final report be submitted before the ACJM concerned within the aforesaid period.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
