On previous occasion also none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. The instant application is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying for quashing of case No. C/96/2012 under Sections 120B/420/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code now pending in the Court of learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 6th Court at Calcutta.

On perusal of the application as well as annexures filed therein it appears that this is not a fit case where jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure can be exercised. Accordingly, the instant application stands dismissed on merit.
