The Petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Chhotokanyadiha Primary School, a school under the D.P.S.C., Jhargram, the respondent No.6 herein. The petitioner is praying for a general transfer on the ground of distance and is a surplus teacher of his school.

The representation of the petitioner to that effect, dated 19th August, 2025 is pending consideration before the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, the respondent No.4 herein. The said representation forms part of the writ petition, being Annexure 'P-5'. The respondent No.4 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with

law within 12 weeks from the date of communication of this order and pass necessary orders.

The writ petition being WPA 22194 of 2025 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
