Statements of witnesses implicate the petitioner in the torture of the victim housewife who suffered unnatural death at her matrimonial home.

Petitioner, who is the father in law of the deceased housewife, stays at the matrimonial home. He does not stand on the same footing with the uncle-in-law of the housewife who has been granted pre-arrest bail in CRM (A) 4557 of 2022. Accordingly, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
