Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner purchased the land in question from the proforma defendants who were the original lessees in respect of the plot and the deed of lease was executed in favour of the petitioner on 29th December, 1971 after compliance with all formalities and payment of consideration. The petitioner applied before the respondent No.3 for mutation of his name and also submitted an application accompanied by necessary documents before the said respondent seeking permission of transfer of the leashold plot in his favour.

The petitioner complains that though he filed such representation before the authority on 19th June, 2018 but that has not been disposed of as yet. The petitioner prays

for a direction upon the respondent No.4 for consideration of the said representation.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties and material on record, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon the respondent No.4 to consider and dispose of the representation (Annexure P-17 to the writ petition) submitted by the petitioner on 19th June, 2018 on merits within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

Accordingly WPA 20264 of 2019 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
