The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of English at Balurghat Lalit Mohan Adarsha Uchcha Vidyalaya, Balurghat, Dakshin Dinajpur, she was convicted in a proceeding under the provisions of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, as a consequence thereof, she was terminated from her said service vide order bearing Memo No. DA/316/4/22 dated August 12, 2022 passed by the President of the Ad-hoc Committee, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, the said order is under challenge in the instant writ petition.

The petitioner subsequently, was acquitted from the said criminal charge, consequently has been reinstated in her service by the order dated September 29, 2022. In view of such development, no further order need be passed in the present writ petition.

The District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Dakshin Dinajpur, the respondent no. 5 herein, is directed to take immediate steps for approval of the said reinstatement of the petitioner in her service.

W.P.A. 22389 of 2022 is thus disposed of with the above observations without any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
