Petitioners have amicably resolved their matrimonial dispute which gave to the impugned prosecution. A joint affidavit disclosing this fact is placed on record being CRAN 1 of 2024.

In view of the aforesaid submission and in light of law declared in Gian Singh vs. State of Punjab1 I am inclined to quash the proceeding.
