We have considered the materials on record. On repeated dates cross-examination of PW 3 was deferred on the prayer of the defence counsel. Next date is fixed for recording evidence of other prosecution witness.

In view of the aforesaid development and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Learned trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
