Report filed by the State is also taken on record. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was attacked by the private respondents. He received severe injuries. This was brought to the notice of the police. An FIR was registered. The investigation is not being done properly. Learned advocate for the State relies on the report and submits that on the complaint of the petitioner, an FIR was registered. Notices were issued under Section 41A of the Code to the prime accused who complied with the same. The accused surrendered before the learned trial court and were released on bail. The investigation is going on.

It appears that an FIR was registered and the investigation is going on.

Let the investigating officer continue the investigation by collecting necessary injury reports, if any

and if not taken, and recording statements of witnesses and conclude the same expeditiously and in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
