The petitioner says that he has been falsely implicated. There is hardly any material against him. He is in custody for 2 years 3 months. He prays for bail. Learned State counsel says that only two prosecution witnesses out of seven remain to be examined. The trial can be concluded by the end of November, 2024. The next date is November 13, 2024.
Since the trial is on the verge of conclusion, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail. However, since the petitioner has been in custody for quite some time, we direct the learned trial Court to conclude Signed By :

the trial by delivery of judgment at the earliest and positively by the end of November, 2024, if necessary, by preponing the next date fixed.
The application for bail being CRM (NDPS) 1438 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.
Registry is directed to communicate this order to the learned trial Court forthwith.
Parties shall also communicate this order to the learned Court below immediately.
