1. Let the report filed by the State be kept with the records.

2. We find from the report that the prosecution proposes to examine five more witnesses.

3. 336 Kgs. of ganja was seized from a vehicle of which this petitioner was the driver.

4. In view of such huge quantity of narcotics being involved and keeping in mind the restrictions in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail. Hence, the prayer for bail is rejected.

5. The application being CRM (NDPS) 1439 of 2024 is accordingly dismissed.

6. However, considering that the petitioner has been in custody for over one year and seven months, we direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the fullest and conclude Signed By :
