Report filed by the State is also taken on record. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the owner of the land in question. The private respondents are rank outsiders who have no right, title or interest in the petitioner's property. Yet they have been disturbing the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land of the petitioner. This was brought to the notice of the police, but no steps were taken.

Learned advocate for the State relies on the report and submits as follows. There are some disputes regarding the land owned by the petitioner and some local villagers had been claiming right to cultivate crops on such land. On the complaint of the petitioner, a proceeding has already been initiated under Section 107

of the Code. The police have been keeping close watch on the developments in the locality.

It appears that the police have taken steps on the complaint of the petitioner by initiating a proceeding under Section 107 of the Code.

However, the police shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place and see that no order of a civil court is violated. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
