This is an application for restoration of the writ petition which was dismissed for default on 28th November, 2024.

The application for restoration was filed on 10th December, 2024. After going through the explanation given, I find that the applicants/writ petitioners were prevented by sufficient cause from appearing before the Court when the matter was taken up and ultimately dismissed for default.

In such circumstances, the order dated 28th November, 2024 is hereby recalled.

The writ petition being WPA 22771 of 2024 is restored to its original file and number.

CAN 1 of 2024 stands disposed of accordingly.
