Mr. Syed Mansoor Alam, Md. Habibur Rahman ... For the petitioner. Mr. Pankaj Halder, Mr. Sankha Prasad Roy ... For the State. The petitioner was the Assistant Headmaster of Darivit High School (H.S.), District - Uttar Dinajpur, on attaining the age of superannuation he has retired from his said service on December 31, 2018.

The petitioner, complaining delay in disbursement of his retiral benefits, has filed the instant writ petition. Mr. Halder, learned advocate for the State submits that during the pendency of the instant writ petition, necessary pension payment order has been issued and retiral benefits have been disbursed in favour of the petitioner.

Mr. Ali, learned advocate for the petitioner acknowledges such submission of Mr. Halder.

In view of such development, no further order(s) need be passed in the matter.

The petitioner, however, is at liberty to pray for interest for delayed payment of the said retiral benefits by filing a separate writ petition.

W.P.A. 22028 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
