This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiffs praying for a direction upon the learned Judge, 10th Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to dispose of Title Suit No.2078 of 2022 expeditiously.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the evidence of the plaintiffs has already been concluded and September 25, 2025 is fixed for evidence of the defendant witness. She submits that the suit is for recovery of possession which is pending since the year 2022.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to issue notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocates representing them before the learned Trial Court.

In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate for the petitioners and taking note of the fact that September 25, 2025 is fixed for evidence of the defendant witness, C.O. No.3464 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, 10th Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to make an endeavour to dispose of the Title Suit No.2078 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible but preferably within a period of six working months from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
