And In Re : Prahlad Barman ........ petitioner Mr. Anit Dey, ...... for the petitioner Mr. Binay Panda, Ms. Puspita Saha, ...... for the State Petitioner is in custody for 570 days. He submits that victim suffered accidental death. Other co-accuseds are on bail. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner dashed the victim with his motorcycle. He does not stand on the same footing with the co-accuseds who are on bail. In view of the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the crime, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant bail at this stage.
