Writ petitioner participated in a selection process for the post of constable of the West Bengal Police. On verification, the writ petitioner was not found to be an Indian national.

The post involved in the selection process was for Indian National. There is no document on record to establish the credential of the writ petitioner as an Indian national. There is no material to upset the view taken by the Tribunal on such issue. It cannot be said that the impugned order of the Tribunal suffers from any perversity.

In such circumstances, we find no merit in the present writ petition.

WP.ST 286 of 2013 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
