1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Considering the statement of the eyewitness recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. directly implicating the petitioner of physical torture which has resulted in an unnatural death of the victim and having regard to the remarks in the postmortem report that there has been injury on the left cheek to left face and right shoulder, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
