It is submitted that the petitioner is the brother-in-law of the victim housewife. He prays for bail.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the victim lady.

In view of the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime we are not inclined to grant bail the petitioner at this stage.
