1. The petitioner's application seeking transfer on general ground is pending consideration before the School Managing Committee.

2. The school ought to take steps to consider the same in accordance with the West Bengal School Service Commission (General Transfer, Transfer on Special Grounds and Reallocation), Rules 2015 as amended from time to time.

3. The instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the School Authority to consider

the application for transfer made by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps in accordance with law shall be taken by the school.

5. The decision of the school shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
