1. On the prayer of the petitioner, leave is granted to the petitioner to file affidavit of service during the course of the day.

2. In view of the innocuous nature of the application, we do not intend to keep the same pending unnecessarily.

3. The petitioner seeks early disposal of an original application filed by respondent nos. 4 to 7 herein.

4. We find from the records and from the arguments of learned counsel present in court today that the matter is pending before the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal since the year 2014.

5. By an order dated June 10, 2025, an earlier application for expeditious hearing filed by the present petitioner was disposed of by a coordinate Bench, without granting any direction for expeditious hearing, on the premise that the date of hearing before the Tribunal was fixed on the self-same day i.e. on June 10, 2025.

6. However, we find from the records that the matter is yet to be concluded. Accordingly, we find sufficient reason for expressing the hope and trust that the Tribunal shall dispose of the matter at the earliest.

7. Hence, WPLRT 157 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the First Bench of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal to dispose of OA 865 of 2014 (LRTT) pending before the said Bench, by shifting back the next date if necessary, and ensure that the same is disposed of latest within six months from the date of communication of this order to the learned Tribunal.

8. There will be no order as to costs.
