Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits criminal proceeding was instituted against him in 1999. Proceeding is still pending. He made application under Right to Information Act. In response to his prayer he has been informed that records are untraceable.

This order is assailed in criminal revision which in our considered opinion is not maintainable.

Be that as it may, in exercise of my superintendence powers, I direct the District and Sessions Judge, Paschim Burdwan to take necessary steps for tracing out the records and if the records are not available to reconstruct the same and dispose of the proceeding at an early date.

With this observation, application is disposed of. 5.
